As a Carpenter at Bathrooms of Charleston, you will be responsible for a range of carpentry tasks on our remodeling projects, with a primary focus on bathroom renovations. You'll work on everything from framing and installing trim to assisting with setup and cleanup. This role requires a well-rounded skill set, a good eye for detail, and a strong commitment to delivering top-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry tasks, including framing, installing trim, and building custom features for bathroom remodels
• Assist in demolition while ensuring minimal impact on areas outside the scope of work
• Help "straighten" the space after demolition, ensuring walls and floors are properly aligned
• Install cabinets, millwork, and other carpentry components as needed
• Assist with setup and teardown of job sites, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-organized
• Support the project manager and coordinate with other trades as needed
• Assist tile setter and learn waterproofing techniques for tile work and other related tasks
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, ensuring each project meets our quality expectations

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in remodeling or renovations (bathroom experience is a plus)
• Proficiency in framing, trim work, and cabinetry installation
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team
• Basic understanding of structural principles and building techniques
• Professional appearance and attitude, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Familiarity with project management software (JobTread experience is a bonus)
